BirdiePlayStands.com introduces our new and hot line of Play Gyms now featuring Acrylic steps! No more birdies eating through and chewing up their steps. Acrylic is strong and safe and makes cleaning a breeze, and will save you a ton of money by not having to replace wooden steps. So far, we have pink, red, yellow, and blue, in 1/2" and 3/4" diameter. Our Play Gyms are constructed using Mahogany wood for the frame and posts for stability and longevity. We use 3/4" thick melamine for our bases, which also makes clean up a snap, just spray and wipe! If you prefer Manzanita steps, we have that too!

We also custom build matching Pedestal stands made from Mahogany, w/high quality casters for mobility. We can accomodate almost any request. We also do rebuilds and restorations of existing gyms. Our prices are very affordable and customizable.

SELECTING ONE OF OUR PARROT / BIRD PLAY GYMS

Your best choice among our Parrot Gyms is determined by your bird size, the space you have in your home, and your budget. As the saying goes - choose the largest gym that fits your space and budget. All of our gyms are well thought out to make sure that your bird will be occupied and always thinking and exploring new ways to get around. Let's face it, you didn't set-out to buy a gym for your bird to just sit there, the idea was for them to have fun and play, and we make them think too! We have many modes/styles to choose from. Our designs and styles are unique, you won't find them anywhere else. Look closely at the detail of construction, the thickness of the posts and the creative thought behind each design insuring your bird will have fun and learn.

THE BELLA (standard) sizes 24" x 24" and larger. $275.00 & up depending on size & options, + shipping The 24" x 24" will fit most small to medium sized birds. It has five levels, three levels are platforms, the other two are perches. It comes with two stainless steel cups (or you can have a plastic cup for the upper perch if you have a larger bird). The Bella is our most popular model. The first food cup is placed on the lower horizontal perch that is between L2 & L3 posts. Platform Level 1 has a Toy post on it made from either manzanita wood, fir wood or acrylic, Platform Level 2 has a 2"x2" mahogany post with either acrylic steps or manzanita steps or fir wood steps leading to a perch with food cup. Platform Level 3 has a Toy post on it made from either manzanita wood, fir wood or acrylic. The gym comes with three ladders that take your bird to each level. The ladders have acrylic or fir wood for the rungs/steps. The diagonal perch will be approx 7/8"-1" diameter natural wood. Bella Standards come with Rope/block climber which hangs from acrylic (or manzanita) exercise beam. Acrylic steps/rungs will be in assorted colors. Lots of eye hooks placed in good areas for toy hanging. Our famous "Chew post" with rope threaded through drilled holes that has assorted colored wood, beads, toys, etc. to keep birds busy playing. Decorated *Coconut shell on top of chew Post. *Please note if we do not have a coconut shell in stock at time of order we will substitute with comparable item and decorate it to give similar look/presence. A couple of assorted hand made toys will be hung on the gym to dress it up. This gives it a nice at home feeling when your bird gets to see the Gym and can start having fun right away! Height of gym alone is approx 24", not including the height of the toy post on L3, which is approx 9"-10" tall (depending on your bird size/type). Overall height approx 34".

The Bella Slim has been discontinued. It was the same size of the Bella but it was made with thinner wood for the platform levels. If you are interested in a smaller, type gym, please write and let usknow what yourt requirements are.

The HarryLuna -$259.00 & up. Shown on website in 24" x24". This is built with a different structure than the Bella. There is a center post that has a perch running diagonally through it. There are acrylic steps on the centerpost leading up t that perch. There are six levels on this gym. Two levels are platforms, and the other four levels are perches, two of which have perches with food cups on them. This gym has a more open look to the base, with alot of perches at different heights for your bird climb back and forth to. Sometimes it may be hard to decide which gym to choose, but some birds like ladders better, others birds like perches better. Pick the one you think your bird would enjoy most. However, no matter what your choice, I am sure you bird will have lots of entertainment on the gyms/playpens we build.

The Woody 24" x 24" $299.00 & up, depending on size & options, + shipping. Similar to the Bella with some differences. The biggest difference is not using a ladder to take you from Level 1 to Level 2. Level 1 has a post with spiral steps, the third step is actually a perch. When the bird climbs up the steps they can decide to use that step/perch to walk across to Level 3 and enter at the platform level, or go up one more step to another perch and walk across the perch to Level 2 which would put them at the top. At that point they can sit on the perch if they want to, or they can can climb down the steps on the post to the platform. They can stay there, or walk to the ladder to take them from Level 2 to Level 3... Decisions, Decisions...This gym, like the others, was created to keep your bird busy and thinking! Is a good choice in larger sizes for bigger birds.

The Kiwi or similar style in 20" x 20" ($195.00 & up, depending on size & options, + shipping) built like the Bella, but with only two platform levels and no diagonal perch. There is a modified bottom level chew post built into the post that holds the exercise beam. Due to the smaller footprint, there is no room for the diagonal perch, or the typical bottom level Chew Post. This size is good if you a limited in space and still want to have an active, fun, colorful and safe play area for your bird.

Larger birds: such as African Grey, Amazons, Med Cockatoos & similar types

BELLA LARGE 30" x 24" ($339.00 + shipping) Same as the standard Bella, but rectangular. The Catcher box is larger, the spacing between Platform levels is increased, heights to allow for the larger sized platforms bases to fit for your larger bird. Perches will be spaced further apart too. Steps will be made from 3/4" diameter acrylic and/or manzanita & spaced apart according to your type of bird. We will use either Manzanita or madrone woods for all perches, including perch on L2 with food cup. Most larger birds decide to start chewing on their perches, and because they are bigger they can usually chew them up pretty quickly. We don't want them to devour the perches, so to make your gym last longer, we make this size gym come standard with the harder woods for the perches. There is never any guarantee that your bird will not be able to chew any wood provided, but the manzanita is known for being the hardest wood for the birds to chew up. Overall height of gym will increase for larger sizes.

Bella X-Large 30" x 30" ($419.00, + shipping) Same concept as Bella.
Bella XX-LLarge 36" x 24" ($459.00, + shipping) Same concept as Bella, but rectangular.
